Valentines Portrait Special; January 24, 2010

This is my debut Valentines Portraits Special and I am very excited to share the opportunity with you!  If you are like me, the holidays are so busy and it can get pretty stressful trying to get those “holiday cards” out the door.  So about 5 years ago I came up with a solution; wait to send cards until Valentines Day!  I just love it, because it gives me time to come up with a new idea and not under the pressure of the holidays.  My friends and relatives just love getting our Valentines cards and, after all, who doesn’t like the surprise of getting a Valentines in the mail!  For that reason, I am offering you a chance to have some fun images to share during this hugs and kisses holiday time of February.

This event is by appointment only and is on Sunday, January 24, 2010.  Call now to schedule your session.  Limited spaces are available!  This special includes a 20 minute studio session (with one person or child) PLUS 24 Valentine’s Day cards and 1 Facebook image for $99.  An additional child or person is $39 each.

If I had to wait any longer for our first November snowfall I would have…screeeeamed!  Yesterday we received a couple inches of nice, dense snow that has been sticking around.  Finally, I got out the shovels.  I have never been so happy to shovel!  I know, there are some of you out there that are thinking I’m crazy, but to each their own and thats what makes the world go round.

Just before the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, my assistant Linda was able to decorate my window boxes.  She does such a fantastic job and they are different every year.  She collects her greens from the forest and does fancy stuff with pretty ribbon (I love stars).  This year, she got ahold of some second hand ball ornaments and the colors are fab!

Toni, my other assistant, decorated the inside of the gallery.  I’m telling you, I have such a beautiful showroom!  You have to come over and look!  It will make you lighten up and feel the spirit of the season.  I just love this time of year!

Last weekend was the 50 on 50th Art Show in Minneapolis.  Thank you to everyone who was able to attend!

For me the show was a great success and I had such a wonderful time being surrounded by amazing talent and creative energy.  The place was just buzzing with customers and viewers who really seemed to appreciate the depth and variety of work at the show.  Being surrounded by this kind of appreciation and energy just feeds my desire to want to do more and better work!  Thank you again to all who came!
